DArt Apps ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you use the Calculator: AI Math Solver mobile application (the "App"), package name: com.aicalculator.instant.calculat.maths.solver.app.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect or process the following categories of information:
A. Information You Provide
- Math questions and prompts entered in the AI Calculator
- Calculation expressions and results saved to history (if you use the feature)
- Reminder titles, notes, and scheduled date/time
- App settings such as language, theme, sound, and haptics preferences
- Optional biometric/PIN lock settings (stored on your device only)
- Images captured through the math scanner feature for on-device processing
B. Automatically Collected Information
- Device type, operating system version, app version, and language
- Advertising ID (AAID/GAID) where ads are enabled and permitted by your device
- IP address and general network/connectivity information
- App performance, diagnostic, and crash data
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) when advertisements are shown
- Purchase and subscription status through Google Play Billing
C. Call-Related Information (Optional Feature)
If you enable the After Call calculator widget or related caller features, the App may access:
- Phone state (such as when a call starts or ends)
- Caller number and call duration from phone state events (when available)
- Overlay permission status to display the after-call screen
This information is used to show the after-call experience and related shortcuts. We do not sell call-related data.
D. Information We Do NOT Intentionally Collect
- We do not require account registration to use the App
- We do not knowingly collect precise GPS location
- We do not intentionally collect government ID numbers, bank account numbers, or payment card details inside the App (payments are handled by Google Play)
3. Permissions We Request and Why
- INTERNET: App updates, ads, remote configuration, billing, and online services
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE / ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Check connectivity before online features
- CAMERA: Scan math problems using the built-in scanner
- READ_PHONE_STATE: Detect call start/end for the optional after-call feature
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Display the calculator widget over other apps after calls
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Deliver reminder notifications (Android 13+)
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Reschedule reminders after device restart
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Support reliable reminder/notification-related services
- VIBRATE: Calculator key haptic feedback
- USE_BIOMETRIC: Optional biometric app lock/security, if enabled by you
- AD_ID: Serve and measure ads
You can deny or revoke optional permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without the related permission.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide calculator, scientific calculator, and AI math assistance features
- Save and display calculation history on your device
- Process scanned math images on your device where supported
- Show optional after-call calculator and caller shortcuts
- Schedule and deliver reminders you create
- Display advertisements and rewarded experiences (for free users)
- Process Premium subscriptions and restore purchases through Google Play
- Improve app stability, performance, and user experience
- Detect crashes, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse or fraud
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
5. AI Calculator and Scanner Features
- AI math assistance may process the text you enter to generate answers and step-by-step explanations.
- Scanner images are used to help recognize math problems. Processing may occur on your device depending on the feature implementation.
- Please avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into the App.
- AI responses are provided for general educational and convenience purposes only and may not always be accurate.
6. Data Storage and Security
Most user content such as calculation history, AI chat content, reminders, and app preferences is stored locally on your device using secure local storage (for example, SharedPreferences and on-device app storage).
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App, unless a feature explicitly uses a third-party online service.
7. Data Retention
- Local app data is retained on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the App.
- Subscription and purchase records are retained by Google Play according to Google’s policies.
- Analytics, crash, and ad-related technical data may be retained by third-party providers for limited periods according to their own policies.
8. Data Deletion
You can delete your information by:
- Clearing calculation history inside the App (where available)
- Clearing AI chat inside the App (where available)
- Deleting reminders inside the App
- Clearing app storage from Android Settings > Apps > Calculator > Storage
- Uninstalling the App from your device
Uninstalling the App removes locally stored app data from your device, subject to Android system behavior and any data retained by third-party services.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may use trusted third-party services, including:
- Google Play Services
- Google Play Billing
- Google AdMob
- Meta Audience Network (Facebook Ads), where enabled
- Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging / Remote Config)
These providers may collect and process limited information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
10. Advertising and Analytics
Free users may see banner, native, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open ads. Ads may be personalized using your advertising ID where permitted by law and your device settings.
You can limit ad personalization on Android through Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Premium subscribers may receive an ad-free experience depending on the active subscription plan and app configuration. Analytics and crash reporting help us understand app usage and fix issues. Where possible, analytics data is aggregated or anonymized.
11. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers optional Premium subscriptions (for example, weekly and yearly plans) through Google Play. Payment processing is handled by Google Play, not directly by us. We receive purchase status information to unlock Premium features. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policies.
12. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of information
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of personalized advertising

14. GDPR and CCPA Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.
15. International Data Transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than your own through third-party service providers such as Google and Meta. These providers may use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
