1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to Daily Expenses Tracker ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Daily Expenses Tracker mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App or Service.

Important: Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Daily Expenses Tracker is a personal finance management application that allows users to:

  • Track income and expense transactions
  • Manage multiple wallets and accounts
  • Organize transactions by categories
  • View financial statistics and analytics
  • Access calendar view of transactions
  • Generate financial reports
  • Sync data across devices

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are of legal age to form a binding contract
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. USER ACCOUNTS

4.1. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account by providing:

  • Your full name
  • Mobile number (required)
  • Email address (optional)
  • Password (minimum 8 characters)

4.2. Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Using strong passwords and enabling security features (biometric authentication)

4.3. Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

5.1. Permitted Use

You may use the App solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the App only for personal finance management.

5.2. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Use automated systems to access the App without permission
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect or harvest information about other users
  • Use the App to store or process data for commercial purposes without authorization

5.3. Financial Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all financial data you enter into the App. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in your data.

6. PREMIUM FEATURES AND PAYMENTS

6.1. Premium Subscription

The App offers premium features that require payment. Premium features may include:

  • Removal of advertisements
  • Advanced statistics and reports
  • Priority customer support
  • Additional customization options
  • Enhanced sync features

6.2. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed through Google Play Billing
  • All prices are displayed in your local currency
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You can manage subscriptions through Google Play Store
  • Refunds are subject to Google Play Store policies

6.3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1. Ownership

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on your personal device
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms

7.3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Create derivative works based on the App
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices

8. USER CONTENT AND DATA

8.1. Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data and information you enter into the App ("User Data"). You are solely responsible for your User Data.

8.2. License to Use Your Data

By using the App, you grant us a license to:

  • Store, process, and transmit your User Data to provide the Service
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and improvement purposes

8.3. Data Accuracy

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of User Data. You are solely responsible for verifying and maintaining accurate financial records.

You may export your User Data through the App's reporting and backup features. We recommend regularly exporting your data for your records.

9. PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. DISCLAIMERS

10.1. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • The Service will meet your requirements

10.2. Financial Advice

Important: The App is a tool for tracking and managing your finances. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult with qualified professionals for financial advice.

10.3. Data Loss

While we implement security measures, we cannot guarantee that your data will never be lost, corrupted, or accessed by unauthorized parties. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your important data.

10.4. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium features in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on data in the App
  • We are not liable for any errors or omissions in your financial data

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your User Data or content

13. TERMINATION

13.1. Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Deleting your account through the App settings
  • Uninstalling the App from your device
  • Contacting us to request account deletion

13.2. Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the Service

13.3. Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and User Data
  • You will lose access to all premium features
  • All provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive

14. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time
  • Add or remove features
  • Change pricing for premium features
  • Update the App with new versions

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Service.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Surat, Gujarat, India. Any disputes arising from the use of this app will be resolved under this jurisdiction.

16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

16.1. Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

16.2. Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Organization], except where prohibited by law.

16.3. Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action or consolidated proceeding.

17. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Sending a notification through the App (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
